About KNUST

KNUST stands for Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology – and is one of the best Technological Institutions of higher learning in the continent of Africa. This University which is popularly known in Ghana as TECH or UST is located at a suburb of the city of Kumasi in Ghana (West-Africa). Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology is a Technical University and is the second University to be established in Ghana. It was founded as the Kumasi Technical College of Technology in 1952. The nucleus of the College was formed from 200 Teacher Training students transferred from Achimota School in the Greater Accra region. The College was affiliated to the University of London.
